What We Do
The Gatesville Band Boosters are responsible for giving support, both moral and financial to the band program of Gatesville ISD. In short, we do what it takes to help make Gatesville’s band program successful. Here are just a few ways we help our program:

We pay for 50% of private lesson costs for interested band students.
Private lessons are critical to a band program’s success. One-on-one instruction is a proven success-driver for programs across the state, and all over the world.

We provide college scholarships for outstanding senior students.
We want to reward success and help our students who want to carry their passion for music forward into college achieve their dream – with as little debt as possible!

Band Trips
Every four years, we help sponsor a major trip with our high school band students. These trips are expensive, but help reward our students for a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication during their four years.

Concession Stand
We run the Thursday and Friday night concession stands at football and soccer games at Gatesville High School. This helps us raise most of our funds during the year. We always need volunteer help to make this possible!

Other Fundraisers + Projects
We also help with other fundraisers and projects during the school year, from provide funds for equipment, building marching band sets, or providing funding for a website.
